General liability covers claims of bodily injury and property damage caused by your business, and for most classes it also covers personal and advertising injury. Coterie’s BOP can cover business property at a fixed or temporary location, but not the truck itself. A business owner’s policy combines GL with property and business income coverage in one policy, which is often the simpler choice for owners who lease or own a space.

What to know before you quote

Coterie doesn’t offer commercial auto, physical damage on trucks or trailers, or liquor sales over 50%, and off-premises property limits may apply. AIB places the truck’s auto coverage separately. Coterie accepts businesses with up to $10M in revenue and 50 employees, one location per policy, limited loss history and no prior cancellations. Home-based and newer businesses are welcome.
