How GL and a BOP work together

General liability covers third-party bodily injury, property damage and, for most classes, personal and advertising injury. Per-occurrence limits are $300K, $500K, $1M or $2M, with aggregates at twice that, and the policy includes medical payments and damage to rented premises. A BOP covers computers, furniture and valuable papers, with business income and computer interruption built in. Many owners pick the BOP because property and business income come bundled with the liability protection.
