General liability covers third-party bodily injury, property damage and, for most classes, personal and advertising injury. Per-occurrence limits are $300K, $500K, $1M or $2M, with aggregates at twice that, and the policy includes medical payments and damage to rented premises. A BOP covers office and clinical equipment and adds business income. Many owners pick the BOP because property and business income come bundled with the liability protection.
